Does every liquid item have to be in a separate zip lock bag in an airplane?

I’m traveling domestically. Does every liquid item under 3oz of course, have to be in a zip lock bag SEPARATELY or can I throw in a few different liquid items?
Also, are the clear bags you push together and they "lock" considered zip lock bags or do I have to get the ones that have the tab you pull just straight across?

They must all fit in one ziploc bag, the 1 quart size, so that is about 8 items. And this applies to carry on hand luggage of course. You can pack as many items and sizes as you like in your checked luggage, and they don’t have to be in a ziploc bag then (though it is a good idea). Either of the types of bags you mentioned will be ok. They usually have bags for this purpose at the entrance to security at most airports.
They can all be in the same bag. I think they might even have to be in the same bag, but not sure. See http://www.tsa.gov to be sure.
And yes, the bags you described are fine.
no, u can put them together. i traveled domestically n internationally n it wasnt a problem.
any bags are fine as long as they are see-through.
you dont have to put them all in one bag either,.you can have one in a bag or 5 in a bag. I had like 7 separate ziplocks with some alone, some combined.
You can only take one zip lock bag through security so you will place all your liquid items in the same zip lock bag. You can use either the kind of zip lock that has the tab you pull across or the kind with the two halves you push together (the yellow and blue make green kind). The largest size they will let you take is a quart size bag.
you can get the bags at the airport you travel from but all liquids can go in one bag.
The ones at the airport are just the clear ones that clip together along the top.
happy holidays xx
